The Streets in Sheffield 2023 (cancelled)

Sheffield, England, October 28th 2023

Before I go to Florida (read our travel journey: here), On July 12th, Ozzy and I booked this gig. This is very expensive, but it might be the only gig we can do. it’s been 4 years since we seen them…. Let’s do this.

We fly to Manchester. There is no flight to Sheffield from the Netherlands. Shep, his girlfriend Jess and Matthew are also going.

On September 28th I got an email from Easyjet that I could check in our flight for Sheffield. so we did.

Aoife sent me a message. This gig might gets cancelled because of the venue. I read a comment about this on Facebook earlier this month. On the website it says that the venue is temporary closed. Also all other gigs are moved or cancelled, except from the Streets. I contacted Tim. He confirmed that they were waiting for reopening. But if everybody else is doing that, the probably have to move the gig to 2024. Shep said it’s an issue with the concrete of the building. To be continued.

In Belfast Mike confirmed that its cancelled. Its been rescheduled to the 25th of May 2024.

When we got home from our Ireland trip we cancelled the hotel for this gig and Changed the flight to the new date. Its way to expensive already, and we have to pay extra to change this… but We don’t want to throw the ticket away. This way we still have something to look forward to.
