Máté told me that Mike and Dave would come to Bielefeld on November 4th 2017. OZZY!!!!!!! We have to go!!!!! Can we go? Ozzy and I are going. It’s easy because it’s a Saturday. Mark will take care of Roos. Thanks again Máté for letting me know. What to do without you?!
Mark was supposed to drop me off at the train station but he was running with my brother still. I dropped myself off by car, Mark would pick it up later. Roos stayed with my mum.
At 1:30 I took the train from Hillegom to Rotterdam. About an hour later I arrived there. I bought myself and Ozzy a Starbucks. Then I left the station to Ozzy’s car. Oz was waiting for me.
Máté told me that Mike would be playing in Cologne. I’ve seen Mike there 2 years ago. It’s only 2 ½ hours drive.
Ozzy and I are going but it’s the same day as Kingsday in Holland. It’s the birthday of our king we’re celebrating. His actual birthday is on April 27th but that is a Sunday this year, and out of respect for people who go to church on a Sunday they don’t celebrate on Sunday’s, they celebrate it that year on a Saturday instead. That’s the case this year. We only have a king since April 30th 2013. he took over the throne from his mum (Game of Thrones). We used to celebrate Queensday on April 30th, this year the date changed. I need to wear orange, otherwise I’ll look stupid in Amsterdam. That means I will have to wear orange to Mike’s gig too. I am not going home first. Sorry lovely German people.
I saw a message on Facebook from de Melkweg. Mike is coming to Amsterdam. He will do a DJ set. FINALLY! Last time he was here for a gig was 2008. 5 years ago, with the Streets. Ted will sort us out again. My boyfriend Mark, his friend Eric (it will be their first time they are going to see Mike) and the famous Master Ozzy will join me.
I woke up on Friday morning at Mark’s (my boyfriend) house in Hillegom. I’m going to see Mike Skinner’s DJ set. Magic & Ted will be there as well. Ted sorted me and Ozzy out again. Thanks Ted.
My mate Ozzy and I went to the opening of the first official Apple Store in Amsterdam. In Holland we had a few Mac Houses and iCentres, but no Apple Store yet. Now we do, anyways we joined a queue of about 4000 people at 9:50am. The doors opened at 10 and after waiting for 1 ½ hour (11:30am) we got in, we got a lovely orange t-shirt, nice for queensday people said, but it’s my 4th orange t-shirt, so I have enough – nice t-shirt to sleep in! I bought a docking station for my iPhone.
I am going to the very last gig of The Streets at Big Reunion, the 2nd weekend. It will be my 35th Streets gig but the last one. I am not too sad, because I am very excited about whatever Mike is going to do next.
Yesterday I heard my grandma is very ill. The doctors give her a few months only.
Today my friend Ozzy & I woke up early to go to the airport. Our plane was supposed to leave at 9:05 but it all took the airport crew a bit longer so it was a little later. Thankfully the flight didn’t take too long.
Ozzy & I took the train from Bloemendaal to the Airport. We arrived in America on October 10th flight was a nightmare. The plane left Amsterdam 1 hour late, so from the 3 hours that we had to transfer in Washington we had 2 hours left.
We woke up at about 9am at my uncle’s house in Amsterdam. We all took a shower, my uncle gave us some breakfast. Bless him. And at about 10.45am we were in the car on our way to Luxembourg. Laura, Ozzy & I arrived there at the Threeland Hotel within 4 hours. Then we grabbed our stuff, that we needed for the gig and took the car into town.
