It’s my birthday. I celebrated it for my friends and family with a BBQ in my mum’s garden last Saturday. Her house was packed, loved it but didn’t expect it. Usually everybody is always on a holiday, this time nobody was. Everybody who was invited came over. This weekend I’ll celebrate it with The D.O.T.

The Streets Kendal Calling Festival 2009

“Kendal is calling me”, Mike tweeted, it called us as well. We’re going to Kendal Calling festival.

July 30th

The night before the gig Laura, Ozzy & I took the train from Bloemendaal (train stop is only 3 minutes walk from my villa) to the airport. We flew to Liverpool, John Lennon Airport. We stayed in Holiday Inn Express hotel there, as we arrived very late. We rented a car last night.

The Streets Luxembourg 2006

After our gig in Amsterdam, we were very excited and wanted more gigs. We checked the internet and we found the France gig, that the girls we met in Amsterdam, were going to. We googled more and we found a gig in Luxembourg.

I got a ticket for the Streets in Luxembourg for my birthday from Ozzy, an early present, as my birthday isn’t until July 24th.

The Streets Amsterdam 2006

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, May 28th 2006

I’m very curious, I don’t know what to expect. First time I’m going to see The Streets live. We’ll see what they are like…

We take the train from Hillegom to Amsterdam. We arrive at about 2pm at Paradiso, very early… way too early. There is nobody there yet. We get some food. We’re going to “Aran Irish Pub” at Max Eeuweplein, we had Spare-ribs. Well Ozzy and I had, Patricia ordered a hamburger.
