Mike Skinner in Cologne 2012

Cologne, Germany, March 3rd 2012

My mate Ozzy and I went to the opening of the first official Apple Store in Amsterdam. In Holland we had a few Mac Houses and iCentres, but no Apple Store yet. Now we do, anyways we joined a queue of about 4000 people at 9:50am. The doors opened at 10 and after waiting for 1 ½ hour (11:30am) we got in, we got a lovely orange t-shirt, nice for queensday people said, but it’s my 4th orange t-shirt, so I have enough – nice t-shirt to sleep in! I bought a docking station for my iPhone.

The Streets Open Source Festival 2009

Dusseldorf, Germany, July 25th 2009

Ozzy & I went from Bloemendaal to Dusseldorf early in the morning to go to a camping and set up the tent. Oh well after a few minutes it was dry again and the sun was shining. So we could finish it. In the meanwhile, I had contact with Laurence, She let me know that Laurie wouldn’t join us, as she didn’t feel too well, Laurence was coming alone. At about 1pm we arrived at the festival, and I text Laurence to let her know where we were.

Cuxhaven, Germany, July 18th 2009

Ozzy woke me up by sending me a text a couple weeks ago and asked me if I wanted to go to this festival called Deichbrand, I said no, half asleep. Then Ozzy said, but I would like to give the ticket for your birthday. I started waking up, sort of… and asked: Is Mike playing there? Ozzy said yes, of course, otherwise I wouldn’t ask, duh! I thought it was better not to go, as we need to save money for the USA tour. (a couple days ago we decided to go to America for the boys in October).
