No gigs in 2020 or 2021 because of Covid. I had a few Streets gigs booked for 2022, all of them got cancelled, but Mike is still DJ-ing. Ozzy and I go to XOYO to see Mike. Now we’re going for just a night out in London. Matthew will join us as well. No hotel needed for us.
I need to know a date. Mark, Roos and I are planning a holiday in the UK this summer. I might be able to go to this festival as well. I need to discuss this with Mark.
I asked Cassell and Mike if it’s a Saturday. They both confirmed that its a Saturday and on 1st August. Oh this looks perfect. Instead of going home on the 1st, we can extend the holiday? Hopefully Mark agrees with this.
Last week I went to Scotland for the weekend with Mark but today I’m heading to London with Ozzy. Ozzy can’t be left out, I needed to go with him as well. So I go twice 🙂 (well 3, I also went to Amsterdam, but that was announced later).
Mike and Dave “Murkage” are having a club night “Tonga” in London. They will organise this every month. Saturday the 4th of October 2014 will be the 1st one. This is going to be a big reunion of Streets heads. Shep and Jamie are coming to the gig. Also Emma J. and Emma P.Dave is coming as well he’s coming with his wife. And I will be meeting up with Aoife & David from Ireland. Chris & Helen and James will be there too. I know them through Twitter.
Ted sorted me and Ozzy out again. And Clare offered to let me stay, luckily Ozzy was welcome too. Also Shep and Jamie, and Shep’s girlfriend Kate are coming, also Lizz and Abbie will be there.
I woke up at 7ish in Hillegom, because Mark had to go to work, I had some stuff to do at my house in Dam because I have hardly been in for the last month. When that was done I watched “Step Up“. I love that movie. I love Channing Tatum it was finished just before 9:30am, a couple minutes later Ozzy arrived. Just before 10am we left to get the bus to the airport. We checked in online already, we only had hand luggage (That was a tip we got from Mike in Solana Beach), so we got through very quickly.
I am going to the very last gig of The Streets at Big Reunion, the 2nd weekend. It will be my 35th Streets gig but the last one. I am not too sad, because I am very excited about whatever Mike is going to do next.
On Saturday, the day before the Streets festival date, we (my mate Ozzy and I) woke up early, left the house in Dam quickly after that to go to the airport where we arrived at 10.30.
