Rotterdam and Amsterdam, The Netherlands, July 17th 2020
Yesterday we were supposed to see The Streets in Rotterdam and today we were supposed to see them in Amsterdam. They were rescheduled from April but they got cancelled again because of Corona.
Last week I went to Scotland for the weekend with Mark but today I’m heading to London with Ozzy. Ozzy can’t be left out, I needed to go with him as well. So I go twice 🙂 (well 3, I also went to Amsterdam, but that was announced later).
After the announcement of Mike bringing back the Streets, I decided that I could continue with the website again. Now I host it myself (no more Tumblr).
Mike sent me a private message on Instagram on October 21st 2017 saying:
I saw on Facebook that Mike would DJ on Eristoff Urban Art Forms Festival this year. It is in Graz, in Austria. Is it do-able for us Oz? I think I’m still not sure if it is. It’s an 11 hours drive, it took us 12 hours as we stopped a few times. But I’m sure it’s worth it. Mike said in Amsterdam “Let’s hang out for a bit, it’s going to be a long journey for you.”
Ted sorted me and Ozzy out again. And Clare offered to let me stay, luckily Ozzy was welcome too. Also Shep and Jamie, and Shep’s girlfriend Kate are coming, also Lizz and Abbie will be there.
I woke up at 7ish in Hillegom, because Mark had to go to work, I had some stuff to do at my house in Dam because I have hardly been in for the last month. When that was done I watched “Step Up“. I love that movie. I love Channing Tatum it was finished just before 9:30am, a couple minutes later Ozzy arrived. Just before 10am we left to get the bus to the airport. We checked in online already, we only had hand luggage (That was a tip we got from Mike in Solana Beach), so we got through very quickly.
Yesterday I heard my grandma is very ill. The doctors give her a few months only.
Today my friend Ozzy & I woke up early to go to the airport. Our plane was supposed to leave at 9:05 but it all took the airport crew a bit longer so it was a little later. Thankfully the flight didn’t take too long.
I woke up at Callum‘s place at 6am, thought my head was going to explode. I still had a headache. Still a migraine. 2 hours later when Laurence and Ozzy were awake, I finally felt better, probably because I had a shower and I knew I was going to get some food.
We said goodbye to Callum‘s girlfriend Chelsea, poor girl had to work, and we got dressed and ready to leave to the Haymarket train station, Callum was still asleep. We left him a note.
