Liége, Belgium, July 12th 2008
We (Ozzy, Laura and me) left Hillegom and drove to Liège. We arrived at about 1.15 pm checked in the Ibis hotel, searched for a fridge magnet, for the bar owner Fred of the pub de Tempelier in Haarlem, as we always give him one, he collects them, but couldn’t find one…at about 4ish we met up with Emma Jones. I wanted to go to Reading and Leeds festival to see The Streets, haven’t seen them since August last year, my best friend Ozzy needed a proper summer holiday, euhm a proper summer holiday in England? Yeah why not…. we decide to plan that holiday in England, around this festival. The Streets never played at that festival this year. We go camping in England .

After our gig in Amsterdam, we were very excited and wanted more gigs. We checked the internet and we found the France gig, that the girls we met in Amsterdam, were going to. We googled more and we found a gig in Luxembourg.
I got a ticket for the Streets in Luxembourg for my birthday from Ozzy, an early present, as my birthday isn’t until July 24th.

I’m very curious, I don’t know what to expect. First time I’m going to see The Streets live. We’ll see what they are like…
We take the train from Hillegom to Amsterdam. We arrive at about 2pm at Paradiso, very early… way too early. There is nobody there yet. We get some food. We’re going to “Aran Irish Pub” at Max Eeuweplein, we had Spare-ribs. Well Ozzy and I had, Patricia ordered a hamburger.

I was watching a video on MTV. It’s about a guy going through his summer holiday photos. I don’t know who it is from, or what it is called. I watched the video two more times on MTV. Every time I saw the video, it’s from halfway to the end, and MTV never showed me any information.
