Yesterday we went to Best Kept Secret festival in the Netherlands. Today we go to Cologne in Germany. It’s father’s day, so we have a very big breakfast with Mark and Roos at Van der Valk hotel in Sassenheim first. Ozzy joins us as well.

This festival is near Beekse Bergen. That is a safari park. We’ve (Mark, Roos and I) been here in Februari. I love this zoo. Anyway, no time for the zoo today. We have a festival to attend to.

On February 24th Mike announced this gig. Thanks so much Mike. He will sort us out. We still had a voucher for the Ferry from DFDS, because Southern sunset festival got cancelled. Ozzy will call them to redeem the voucher. Now we only have to book an hotel still. We booked that on the 3rd of March.

I saw a message on Facebook from de Melkweg. Mike is coming to Amsterdam. He will do a DJ set. FINALLY! Last time he was here for a gig was 2008. 5 years ago, with the Streets. Ted will sort us out again. My boyfriend Mark, his friend Eric (it will be their first time they are going to see Mike) and the famous Master Ozzy will join me.

I woke up at about 7am, got the bus to the airport at 7.50. Arrived at the airport at 8.20. Got a Starbucks at the airport and at 8.45 my train left to Rotterdam. Ozzy would pick me up there. We are going to Paris.
It was a last minute add to their tour. They were replacing Q-tip. I found out last week on Sunday that they would be playing there. On Monday Ted arranged it for us. Thanks Ted! Again! We’ve been to this festival in 2008 as well.

I’m very curious, I don’t know what to expect. First time I’m going to see The Streets live. We’ll see what they are like…
We take the train from Hillegom to Amsterdam. We arrive at about 2pm at Paradiso, very early… way too early. There is nobody there yet. We get some food. We’re going to “Aran Irish Pub” at Max Eeuweplein, we had Spare-ribs. Well Ozzy and I had, Patricia ordered a hamburger.
