The Streets agdcff in Tilburg 2026

Tilburg, The Netherlands, June 21st 2026

Happy 21st of June!

As I told you yesterday, They are doing 2 shows in Holland. They were in Groningen yesterday. That is in the north of Holland. Today we go to Tilburg. That is in the South of Holland.

Today is Father’s day, I have breakfast with Mark and Roos in a Van der Valk hotel in Sassenheim. Ozzy stayed in bed. He needed some sleep. He’s doing a lot of driving this weekend.

Strange Days Indeed and his girlfriend Lotte, Martine and Frédèric, and their son and a friend & Olav and 2 friends are also coming today.

At 1:30 we’re on our way to Tilburg.

We arrive at 2:30ish. We park the car in the garage next to the venue and we walk to the entrance of the venue. It’s next door. We see Kevin. We have a little chat. We meet someone from the crew called Pascal as well.

We see a terrace around the corner from the venue. The restaurant is called Rosalie (same name as my daughter’s official name). We have a drink here, it’s very warm already.

I need to do some shopping. Roos needs flipflops or sandals, we go to Primark. It’s Sunday, not all shops are open. I also buy a hand fan and summer PJ’s for Roos.

We drop the Primark stuff off in the car except from the fan, that’s in my bag. Then we go back to Rosalie, where we were earlier. We stay here for a couple of hours. We have a “borrelplank” and a few drinks. Baz walks by we wave. Also Art walks by. Way say hello.

I’ve to put my Disney sunglasses in the car. they weren’t cheap, don’t want them to break. When we get back to the venue we see 1 person in the queue already. that is fanatic LOL. (Looks like us). We have a chat with her. She’s a Streets virgin, it’s her first Streets gig. She is a lovely lady. Haven’t spoken to her afterwards, I wonder how she experienced her first Streets gig.

I get a text from Martine that she has arrived. She is at Rosalie, where we just were. But how? The entrance of the venue is next to the parking. How did we miss her? Oh well, we go over there to say hello to her and her family and friend. We had met this friend a couple years ago. He wasn’t as bad as last time. He was ok now.

Baz walks by again, he knew we were there from earlier today. We have a little chat.

Then we go back to the venue. We have to pick up our ticket at the box office. Then we have to join the VIP queue

The doors open at 7. We walk to the stage. We’re up front again. Martine and her family and friend joins us.

Baz gave me the Streets towel. It is used. Not by Mike, but for cleaning the bus stop LOL.

Soon Olav and his friends come over and say hello. Nice to see you again lads!!

Then the support act starts. Isabèl Usher. I got Roxy Dekker vibes, but more mature, but that was nice. She was pretty decent. I liked her more then I expected. And we recognised the song “Ik kom weer thuis”. We didn’t know it was her song.

Also Strange days indeed and his girlfriend Lotte arrived. Nice to meet you Lotte. Lovely to see you again Strange days indeed.

At 9 it’s time for The Streets. Omg this was amazing!!! Again!!!

Mike came over. He gave me a hug and said he was smelly, but tomorrow is laundry day. I can’t smell, so that’s not a problem for me LOL.

He also got his microphone against his upper lip, guess it hurt a little. He told Keith, but also me.

After the gig we said goodbye to Olav and his friends.

I moved to the middle. Ollie ordered someone to give me the setlist. Strange days indeed and his girlfriend left as well. So did Martine and her family.

2 guys asked me if they could take a photo of the setlist. Of course you can. We had a little chat. A guy asked Ozzy, if he was the manager or a big fan lol.

We leave, we walk past the toilets. Let’s go before we drive home. We see Martine and her family again. We can say goodbye. Hopefully see you soon.

We get one more drink. Rosalie is now closed, we go to Cafe de Snor, thats across the street from that Rosalie. Then it’s time to go home. We’ll be home at 1pm. That was part 2. Tomorrow part 3 in Brussels.

It was 21st of June…. the official Streets day.
