The Streets agdcff in Brussels 2026 (part 2)

Brussels, Belgium, June 23rd 2026

Another gig in Brussels. Part 2 of Brussels, but day 4…. This was the original gig. They added the one from yesterday later. Both were sold out within minutes.

Virina and Barbara are also going today.

No alarm clock today. We try to sleep in. But my biological clock goes off at 8am. Can’t sleep anymore. I take a shower. I feel human again. But I’m also hungry. Ozzy is not really asleep anymore either. Let’s have breakfast first, then we go back to bed.

After breakfast we’re going back to the room. Ozzy falls asleep. I don’t. Hopefully I can take a nap later today. 

At 1pm we are awake and up for tourist stuff, cos that’s what we are. Going to look for the pissing boy statue “Manneke Pis”. They gave him some clothes. I read on Google that they have 200+ outfits for him. Looks a bit silly tho. Mike drew him on the bus stop last night. That was pretty good tho….

We walk to the market square and have a cold coffee from Starbucks. Cheers!

Then we walk towards the Metro, to go back to the hotel. To chill for a bit. We see Wayne, Kevin and Gabriel. We wave at them. See you guys later!!. Back at the hotel, I couldn’t sleep. Too excited. I took another shower. At 4ish we go back to Manneke Pis. We have a Belgium waffle with strawberries, powder sugar and Nutella. I think I’ve had enough for tonight. At least enough until after the gig. I’m stuffed. It was delicious tho. 

Then we walked to O’Reilly’s the Irish pub, where we were yesterday as well. We wait here until the queue from the venue has shade. We can see that from here. Kevin and Wayne walk by. Also Mike, but he doesn’t see us.

At 6:30 we join the queue. Roo, Max, Kevin, Cassell and a few crew members walked by. At 7 the doors opened and we got in. We’re up front again.

Virina and Barbara arrived as well. We first have to survive the support act Ila. It’s not my cup of tea. Virina was complaining about the heat. Yes it’s very warm, but we survived yesterday as well LOL

Just before 9 it’s time for the Streets. Amazing!!! I’m repeating myself, but the gig was amazing again. And Mike appreciated my hand fan again. I could use it on him again. I got another hug from him.

Today’s crowd was more intense then yesterday. Some guy climbed over the fence, but fell on his head. Obviously the security sent him away. And didn’t feel sorry for him. Anyway, he deserved it. Wayne hoped that he was ok. I think he was, cos he could walk, it might be black and blue tomorrow. But there were more like him. I preferred last nights gig because of that.

Mike and I sang a bit of “fit but you know it” to each other. When he sang “Don’t you just know it” he held my shoulder. aaaahhhh Thank you!!

Ozzy and I got the setlist from Olly. Thank you so much!!!

Then we went outside and sat on the terrace from Zuid Paleis, the pub we were in last night with the boys. Virina and Barbara joined us. 

After a while the boys came out as well. They watched the last 10 minutes of the England football game in the pub next door. It had a bigger screen. It wasn’t as good as their first game. It became 0-0 against Ghana. We joined them. This pub is open all night. We stay with the crew for a while and have a few drinks. Virina and Barbara already left.

Before we walk back to the hotel, we have some food at McDonald’s. I’m hungry now. I didn’t eat much today. Then we walk back. Again 30 minutes walk. And it’s still very warm. Back at the hotel we go straight to bed. It’s 3 am. 

Omg, this were 4 amazing days, great shows, amazing tour. The boys are amazing. Thanks so much guys! Also for letting us tag along. Will see you soon!! On Saturday we go to Bristol. I’m so glad we have another show soon. We get to do it all over again, 1 more time. 

Wednesday 24th of June 2026

I wake up at 8:30. Ozzy sleeps in. I write the blog from last night. We have to check out at 11. House keeping comes by at 9:30. Euh…. We’re still here, we won’t have to leave before 11. Get out. They apologise and leave again. I finish the blog. I take a shower. I wake Ozzy up just before 10:30. We have a drink in the bar from the hotel.

Then we buy some water in the supermarket at the train station. And we have a Starbucks at the train station.

Just before 1 we take the train home. Hopefully it goes smoothly. There was a strike this morning in Holland. And it’s extremely hot outside. There are less trains, it could take longer to reach our destination. It all went smoothly. We were home at 4pm. We bought some food for tonight. Roos and Mark had dinner at my mums. Ozzy and I took a dive in the Ringvaart to cool off. Night all!!
